TfL Planning Application For Northwood   Town Centre Conservation Area


As you will be aware the previous Transport for London (TfL) planning application of TfL submited to the London Borough of Hillingdon (LBH) under 71083/APP/2015/4037 of October 2015 was withdrawn on the 5th Sept. 2016.  It was due to be heard on the 13th September 2016 by the Major Applications Committee with a Recommendation for Refusal by LBH Planning Officers.

On Tuesday, 27th March 2018 a Press Release was put into the public domain along with an illustration of multi-storey blocks replacing the TfL owned estate in the Northwood Town Centre. The illustration shows the south side of Green Lane.  No illustration was shown of the TfL owned estate on the North side of Green Lane. The TfL owed estate in the Northwood Town Centre lies mainly in the Conservation Area.  The illustration can be seen on the pre-merger twitter account of the NHH.

The press release of the 27th March 2018 states:-
Triangle London Developments (TLD), a consortium between Notting Hill Housing and U+I, have been selected by TfL as preferred partner to develop a 4.7acre site around Northwood Station. The site has the potential to provide more than 150 new homes, 35 per cent of which will be affordable housing.

Notting Hill Housing will be the lead developer from Triangle London Developments.  Notting Hill Housing is now Notting Hill Genesis (NHG) having merged with Genesis Housing.

On the 28th May 2018 NVL have been advised by LBH that no pre-application discussions have taken place with LBH nor has there  been any new Planning Application to LBH concerning the Northwood Town Centre/Green Lane Conservation Area..
